Jerry Nichols

1St. Assistant Director

I have been a filmmaker since 1991 starting out my career at Universal Studios Florida on the USA Network TV series “Swamp Thing”.  Then after marrying my college sweetheart Dene, we moved to Chicago and started a family.  I continued working in film and television on over 14 feature films (such as “Rudy, The Hudsucker Proxy, and My Best Friends Wedding”) and 3 television series (“Missing Persons, Early Edition, and Cupid”) as well as numerous commercials.  The family then moved back to Indianapolis in 2000 where after a hiatus I am finally back doing what I love: filmmaking!

Working on 2 independent feature films in the last 2 years has been a realization of the goal of making movies here in Indiana and now with “Sound of the Spirit” and Kingdom Pictures I hope to begin to fulfill my desire to be involved in projects with a positive message.

Bart Willard

Production Designer

With a background in visual art and theater/live performance, Bart has been producing art and design professionally for over 16 years. He studied art and design at Huntington University and graduated with a degree in art in 1994 but his love for art started when he was 5 years old... when he would sneak into his big brother's bedroom to copy his brother's own drawings of old World War II fighter planes. He liked it so much (and discovered he was actually good at it) that he eventually decided to make a career in art. Bart has worked in a variety of venues doing everything from layout and graphic design to scenic painting to book cover illustration but has secretly always dreamed of working in film. He is thankful for the opportunity that God has provided in this film, is blessed to be working along side his own daughter Lina in the film, and looks forward to what is in store.
