GUY CAMARA Bio Guy Camara is the president and founder of Kingdom Pictures Inc. established in 1995 located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Guy (pronounced in french “Ghi”) is an African born U.S. citizen transplanted to America from The Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly known as Zaire). His parents seeking a better life received political asylum status in the U.S. 1972, when Guy was 8 years old. Guy pursued filmmaking at the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan NY. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film at the State University of New York - Purchase, New York. While at Purchase, Guy studied under terrific professors; Yuri Neyma(nD.O.A), Gordon Willis (The Godfather), Miriam Arsham, Aram Avakian (End of The Road), Dick Rogers, Tom Gunning, In 1992 He Produced Strength. In 1994, He produced Garden starring Matt Malloy and Melissa Leo the oscar winning actress of (The Fighter) and directed by James Spione. In 1994 Guy began a freelancing career in Indianapolis. In 1995 Guy wrote and directed a movie called Time Won't Fly. In 1996 Guy was Sound Mixer on the movie In The Company of Men. 1998 he was Assistant Director for American Reel (Starring David Carradine and Mariel Hemmingway). In 2006 Guy Produced and Short movie The Broken Road, written and directed by Eric S. Filson. In 2008 Guy wrote, Produced, Directed, edited Taylor Made. Guy is in post-production with The Sound of The Spirit . Guy is proficient in low-budget filmmaking and has had success producing films on time and on budget.
