KINGDOM PICTURES:
Started in 1995 in Indianapolis by Guy Camara. Our mission is to make movies that inspire the soul towards God and His Kingdom. Our approach to motion pictures is traditional in that we put story and execution at a very high level. We are unlike Hollywood in that we refuse to put objectionable material in our movies out of respect for our audience our Lord. Stories we seek have to promote the gospel without compromising excellence. We work with small budgets purely out necessity and with a desire not to loose any of our investor’s hard earned money. We are a for profit venture and solicit investors interested in movies and their impact on the soul.
Taylor Made will be our second film following the success of The Broken Road produced in 2007. We have a number of films in the works My Life As A Doormat based on the book by the same name. The book is published by Thomas Nelson Publishing and written by Rene´Gutteridge and part of Women of Faith series. The Good Fight tells the story of an African American young man returning from Iraq. He is dealing with a wounded soul from his experience there and fighting God on every front until he is reached by his brother who runs a boxing ministry. Testimonies is a series of stories told by ex-convicts and recreated to dramatize their conversion experience. These will be used by prison ministries.
EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:
Guy Camara is a teacher at heart and incorporates young people in his productions. Every project is a hands-on experience for the young people. This is one reason TM is being produced in the summer months. This allows for young people to work on the projects and with that extra minimize the budgets.
